Senior Portraits are a fun and creative way to express who you are and what you did during your high school years. We recommend that you think about what you do best at your high school and incorporate that in to the photo shoot. Most seniors are concerned with the clothing and location. We can help you with whatever you need to help you have the best photo shoot.

Bring a variety of outfits with you. This will be useful in the event that we change locations which will change the background and therefore the foreground (you) will need to be in different colored clothing. The best way to dress is dark colored clothes on lighter backgrounds and vice versa. This will help you to stand out in the photograph. Be sure to keep stripes out of the wardrobe, they don't look great in photographs, solid colors look the best. Also, if you have glasses and you wear them most of the time, please bring them with you but remember to have the lenses taken out, otherwise they could create a glare if in a direct lighting situation. Senior Portraits are one of the most important times in a young persons life and you want to make sure that you look the best for them. Remember that you will have these 20 years down the road and you don't want to wear clothes that you might regret.

The best place to photograph senior portraits is on a location that you have interest in. Whether it be at your high school, a park or maybe the college that you are planning to attend. Stellar Photography is willing to travel almost anywhere in the county and will help you choose a location if you can't find one. We also have a studio that we have access to and would be willing to bring you there if you wish.

Check out the photos on this page to get a small glimpse of some of the styles that we can offer to you. If you have an idea of what you would like to do for your photo shoot, please let us know. We have no problem accommodating to you for this special time.

Remember, these portraits are to bring out your personality during your high school years so be sure that you are your self the entire time. If you are shy, bring along a friend, if your parents would like to attend the session, feel free to have them join the fun. Maybe we can even sneak in a few of you and the parents - which would definately make them happy.

Location is everything. If you want to show everyone that you like to dance, we'll put you on a stage with some great lighting, if you like to hike or ski, we'll put you on a mountain, even if you like to work with electronics, we'll use some great colored lighting and some of the latest high tech devices to suit your style. Whatever you do, we can find a location that will let you be yourself and help you to have great portraits.

We offer several different packaging options, including a minimal sitting fee and allow you to choose prints of only the photographs that you prefer or we can price out a package for you that will include not just the prints, but all of the digital files so you can make your own prints and send them to all your relatives. We use all digital for all of the portrait shoots which enable us to switch the photographs from color to black and white on which ever photos you want. Some photos look great in color if the colors mesh well together and others look great in black and white if the lighting is fantastic. We will give you our picks of which ones we think look great in black and white and color and then if you wish to have some changed over, feel free to give us a call and we can do it in no time at all.
