As a photographer, Rachel is passionate about everything that she photographs. Whether it be a magical day for a lucky couple or portraits to capture the essence of a client. The main guideline that she abides by is to put herself in the clients shoes. Become that person for the day. This way she knows exactly what style they want, ranging anywhere from contemporary black and white photographs to the traditional photographs with saturated colors.

She has been a wedding photographer for over five years and has built a climbingly successful career in a very competitive field all on her own. With a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from Sam Houston State University, Rachel continues to use her knowledge as well as educating herself with new techniques and styles to keep building her career. Besides the formal schooling, Rachel has, for the most part, taught herself what she knows about photography and digital editing. With her common sense and intelligence, she is able to tackle many computer applications and know almost instantly how to fix any electronics when it fails. This comes in handy since everything is digital these days.

Rachel uses a Nikon D300 as her main camera for photographing. While she does have a back up camera, the D300 is used 95% of the time. She is very familiar with the camera and knows how to operate it in even the shortest of moments. Her camera is digital which will allow for the images to be taken directly from the camera and put on to a disc for easy transfers. No film to be developed, which saves you money! Using digital also allows for images to be transferred to black and white in no time at all. You can have the option of having black and white, color or even both.

"I am here to capture every moment for the bride and groom... it is their special day and they probably won't remember what color the leaves were and the exact details of the brides bouquet... I am here to capture those memories so they can remember them for a lifetime." This motto carries in to every style of photography, not just wedding photography, and with every client. In portraiture, they will want to remember how sparkling their eyes looked, how fantastic their smile was, and even how little of wrinkles they had!! With the client in mind on every shoot, Rachel is sure to exceed their expectations and let them keep their memories forever.

Rachel is also very talented with graphic design and creating media for some of the millions of customers around the country. With the tremendous growth of the internet, the possibility to service a person across the country has become a very conceivable reality. With a more recent addition to her career, Rachel has begun to pick up website design. Basic HTML pages are mostly what she completes, but with her general curiosity and willingness to learn new things, she will soon surpass this beginner level and eventually become a strong website designer.
